Twenty-nine artists from across NSW have been announced as participants in the state-wide Regional Futures project, including three artists working on two commissions from the Arts OutWest region.
Saturday 9 April 7pm, Union Theatre Lithgow. A free immersive theatrical production inspired by the very real shared experiences of the bushfires of 2019-20. A project supported (auspiced) by Arts OutWest.
NOW CLOSED. EOIs close 28 March 2022. Arts OutWest is seeking Expressions of Interest from creatives across all art forms in our region to be commissioned to undertake a creative development of a new work for a state-wide project.
Friday Nov 19 & Sat Nov 20, BMEC. Nov 26-27, Cowra Civic Centre. A woman. A dog. A campervan. And 4,500 kms of wide open road. An allegory for a country that’s lost its heart.
Starts 1 October. Aboriginal Regional Arts Alliance NSW presents ‘We Weave Together’, an online network for regional and remote Aboriginal weavers to come together to weave, share stories and different weaving skills from regional and remote NSW.
Until Sept 13. The play ‘Kangaroo’ by Miranda Gott has been specially recorded and is available via the Q Theatre’s website as an audio experience.
NEW DATES 20-22 AUGUST. The Travelling Film Festival comes to Orange. Australian and international features, short films, and documentaries from across the globe directly to our region.
Sunday 6 June 2021. Embark on an adventure behind the Forbes Shire art scene. A Forbes Arts Society project proudly supported by Arts OutWest and the NSW Government’s Arts Restart.
May 7-9, Bathurst. Carillonists and bellringers from around the country, together with the absolute best local adult and school bands, orchestras, choirs and ensembles. Supported by an Arts OutWest Micro Grant.
