CASP Stories: Glazed and Fired Up in Condo

Condo Pottery from Heather B 5

Things have been firing up (sorry) in Condo with Lachlan Arts Council’s project to teach young women pottery skills.

The project Glazed and Fired Up in Condo received Country Arts Support Program (CASP) funding in 2022 to creating a young potters group, to reinvigorate and utilise current equipment available at the Condobolin Community Centre.

Pol Cruz, a Bogan Gate ceramic artist, has been facilitating pottery workshops at the Condobolin Community Centre, which has it’s own kiln and pottery equipment.

The Country Arts Support Program is a devolved funding program coordinated locally by the 14 regional arts development organisations in NSW on behalf of the NSW Government.  Read more about all the projects funded in 2022.  The 2023 round of CASP will open in late October 2022.
