CASP Stories: A behind-the-scenes Intertwined rehearsals

Musician, theatre maker, and local Carcoar teaching artist, Tim Hansen joined local Cowra creative Lusi Austin and the cast of Intertwined for their rehearsals at Club Cowra this weekend past. Sharing his vocal coaching skills, Tim is supporting the professional cast to record the music from Intertwined.

Intertwined is a new work of Australian theatre which will be performed at the Cowra Civic Centre 26,27 & 28 July 2024. It will be a significant event marking the official commemorations of the Cowra POW Breakout’s 80th Anniversary. The themes of Intertwined are reconciliation, peace and reflection.

This project is supported by the NSW Governement’s Country Arts Support Program through Arts OutWest with the employment of a vocal coach. Intertwined has additionally received funding from Cowra Shire Council.

The Country Arts Support Program (CASP) is a devolved funding program coordinated locally by the 15 regional arts development organisations in NSW on behalf of the NSW Government (Via Create NSW).

In 2024 eight arts activities across the NSW Central West will share $17,000 in CASP funding for small locally initiated arts activities.
