New work by artist Guubbaay at the Kew-Y-Ahn Aboriginal Gallery

Guubbaay is from the Nuccorilma clan of the Gamilaraay Nation. Born in Tingha he resides in Mudgee in Central Western NSW.

You might have seen some of his encaustic wax works on paper in the gallery. We’re now stocking his pieces in wood with pyrograph marks.
Kew-Y-Ahn Aboriginal Gallery is in the NPWS Hartley Visitor Centre building, 51 Old Great Western Highway (just off the Great Western Highway) at Hartley.
The gallery is open 10am to 4pm Tuesday to Sunday (closed for lunch 1-2pm). Closed Mondays, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.
The project is a partnership between Arts OutWest and NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service.
