As they move into their second year, their focus remains simple: Keep submission fees low so that all filmmakers can have access to the event. Regardless of your film budget, if you made your film with passion, they want to see it! They want your energy focused on the work itself, not on how to afford to have it seen.
Each selected film is judged with care across story, performance, craft and impact. They value originality, risk, perspective. The audience also decides on the night which film resonated the most with them. The award is truly decided by the locals that live here.
