Published in 2027: the first major monograph dedicated to Mandy’s extraordinary career spanning more than four and a half decades.
A new publication on the work of the late Mandurama based artist Mandy Martin.
The project was supported by donations to the Australian Cultural Fund.
The monograph will be published by Melbourne University Press through its Miegunyah imprint in 2027, edited by Kelly Gellatly.
The research surrounding the publication has also developed into a much broader record of Mandy’s artistic life and practice. As part of this, we are working towards a catalogue raisonné of Mandy Martin’s work, and are particularly keen to locate works held in private collections.
If you own a work by Mandy, or know someone who does, we would love to hear from you. Paintings, drawings, prints, studies, works on paper and collaborative works from every period are relevant. Private collectors are welcome to remain anonymous, while allowing the artwork itself to be documented and, with permission, represented in the publication.
