Thursday Storytime – Orange Library

Orange City Library 147 Byng Street, Civic Precinct, Orange, NSW

Storytime at Orange City Library is lots of fun. We read stories, sing songs, play games and make craft. They are held during the school term and cater for preschool children and their carers. Storytime is free and each session lasts approximately one hour. Tuesday’s programme (book and craft) is repeated on Wednesday and Thursday.

The Princess and the Frog

Meet Author Toby Roberts: Two Mums and a Dad

This delightful coming of age memoir explores the angst of puberty, school, sport and bad 80s fashion. Beneath the humour and quirky characters, reminiscent of Netflix’s Sex Education series and just as awkwardly funny, lies a deeper reminder of the human need to pursue more authentic lives, and the capacity for people to surprise us by accepting love in all its forms.


The Listening Room Open Mic Sessions

Jack Duggans Irish Pub, Bathurst 135 George Street, Bathurst, NSW

A new weekly Open Mic session. You can sign up from 6.30pm to perform three songs (or about 15 minutes), in an acoustic format (no drums or electric guitars etc). The event is hosted by local musician Cletis Carr, who has over 20 years' experience running these events at venues such as Penrith Panthers Club.

PAINT 4 EUGOWRA , on Thursday December 8. Brush and Giggle have partnered with some very generous local businesses, some who have been impacted by the flooding themselves, and have donated time and goods to make this a memorable night, and raise much needed funds for the ECCC.
