Great Aunt ( Melbourne)

Australia’s The Waifs – folk heroes and fully independent trailblazers, are celebrating the 20th Anniversary of their breakthrough album ‘Up All Night’ with a massive tour of Australia, heading to every corner and crevice of this big land! The Waifs have continued to forge an independent path over their 30-year career and show no sign of slowing down.
The Wildflowers are Lucy Lehmann and Andy Baylor. They live in central-west NSW. Lucy is a writer and musician, who likes "songs that are about something." Andy is a musician and painter, who likes "music that makes you feel."

Composed as homage to both clarinetist Benny Goodman and violinist Joseph Sizgeti, Bartok’s Contrasts for violin, clarinet and piano is strongly influenced by Hungarian and Rumanian folk tunes and is a delightful journey for the listener. Tchaikovsky’s monumental and lush Piano Trio is a tribute to Arthur Rubinstein, with the inscription “A la memoire d’un Grand artiste”.
