Celebrate all things seniors this February at Parkes Shire Library's Festival of Seniors. Come along this February to an author talk by Margaret Dwyer, your very own library lock-in and celebrate with a photo board of your life from 1975 and music in the library on Throwback Tuesdays and Thursdays. The Festival begins with a celebration of Banjo’s birthday on Friday 17 February 2023 and runs through to Sunday 26 February 2023.
There will be about 20 events over that time and at least 7 opportunities for walk-up performances in pubs, wineries and open air at breakfast.
Bathurst will welcome the World Athletics Cross Country Championships with 68 countries and more than 500 athletes descending on the town to compete at Mount Panorama.
To celebrate, FREE Live Music will be held in Kings Parade and dining venues across town all weekend.
Experience the sounds of the world with a huge line-up of both local and international artists performing live from Thursday 16 to Sunday 19 February.

The Inland Sea of Sound is back in February 2023 with a series of fantastic ticketed events at KeyStone 1889, The Fossil Carpark and BMEC plus free events in Kings Parade. Capacities for ticketed events will be limited so get in early!

On its third year running the Orange Chamber Music Festival will provide the community with a range of free performances within the Orange Cultural Precinct to celebrate the city's modern and vibrant cultural life.
Activities will commence at the Farmer Markets (Northcourt). Performances by the NSW Police Brass Ensemble and Dixieland band will kick off the whole day of free fine performances.
Throughout the morning and early afternoon, performances will take place inside the Library, Museum and Gallery, respectively.
