KANDOS. Cementa is a bi-annual contemporary arts festival in Kandos NSW. This festival brings together artists from urban and regional contexts for a four day celebration of the state of contemporary art in Australia. Taking its regional situation as focus, Cementa celebrates the diversity of voices that can be heard within our contemporary arts communities. We showcase contemporary art across the spectrums of generation, process, and practice.
The 2022 Bathurst Writers' & Readers' Festival will be held in May.
A Cementa institution, The Sound Night brings together the best artists working in this field for a night of experimentation, discovery, discomfort and joy.
ORANGE. This 3-day festival will see a mix of internationally renowned and local artists featured in a series of approximately 50 concerts at venues throughout the CBD including the Civic Theatre and intimate shows at unique church spaces, as well as local pubs and clubs. There will also be a free venue to feature local amateur musicians, including school bands.
Entertainment on the night will include music from Forbes locals Emily Pavey, Clynton Breen and Jo Stephenson; 2019 ‘The Voice’ contestant from Cowra, Josh Maynard; Bathurst duo, Smith & Jones together with their band… and our incredible headline act, beloved Aussie Rock Band Thirsty Merc will be taking us through to the end of the night with all your favourite songs!
WIRADJURI STUDY CENTRE CONDOBOLIN
An annual community festival in the small Inland town of Condobolin, New South Wales, to celebrate 65,000+ years of Wiradjuri culture, including astronomy and skylore..
MUDGEE. Flavours of Mudgee is a free community street festival event that brings together local stallholders and their regional wine, food, and produce. The street festival brings the CBD alive as crowds gather to have dinner in the street and taste the flavours of Mudgee.
