COWRA. Cowra’s privileged place as the home of Australia’s World Peace Bell takes on special significance on Tuesday 17 September for the annual World Peace Day celebrations encouraging us to ‘think globally and act locally for peace’.
FORBES. Ages 16 and over. Repetitive dance movements and conditioning exercises using weights, exercise bands, and Pilates balls, to up-beat music.
CANOWINDRA. OPEN DAILY. A chance discovery in 1955 revealed an extensive fossil bed dating from the Devonian Period. This 360-370 million year old fossil deposit contains the remains of thousands of freshwater fish
CANOWINDRA. Infants, Pre-Primary, Primary, Pre-Junior and Junior Concert - 2:00-4:30pm. Pre-Senior, Senior, Advanced and Boys Concert- 5:00-7:30pm. Tickets $10
FORBES. Ages 16 andover. Four week workshops alternating through various forms of dance and movement, from yoga and ballet, to Latin and modern contemporary and stretching.
COWRA. With experienced and trained group facilitator Simone Gough. Fun and easy. For all ages. $10-15 per lesson. Registered NDIS provider. Registered for Creative Kids vouchers.
FORBES. Combined Forbes Small Schools Choir and Creative Arts Showcase. Bedgerabong, Bogan Gate, Caragabal, Eugowra and Quandialla Schools.
GRENFELL. With experienced and trained group facilitator Simone Gough. Fun and easy. For all ages. $10-15 per lesson. Registered NDIS provider. Registered for Creative Kids vouchers.
BMEC. "Revolting Rhymes and Dirty Beasts" by Roald Dahl shows at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre on Wed 25 Sept at 10am, 12.30pm and 6.30pm.
ORANGE CIVIC THEATRE. Suitable for all ages, Future’s Past promises to entertain – with catchy songs, dynamic dance and memorable characters.
ORANGE. Applications close Friday 27th September 5pm. Auditions held Saturday 9th November.
COWRA. Sakura Matsuri showcases Japanese culture through a range of activities and demonstrations. It is a day for all the family to enjoy.
OBERON. Art activities include comic strip creation, upcycling craft as part of our Pink Up Oberon morning tea and cyanotype (for older children), sun catches (for younger children) as part of the Suntastic session.
EGLINTON. Learn the skills of cutting and polishing minerals and rocks in a 2-day workshop, with the possibility to set polished stones - all materials and instruction provided.
GANG GANG GALLERY, LITHGOW. Art classes these spring school holidays for kids aged 5 to 13 years in the Central West at the Gang Gang Gallery, Lithgow.
