Welcome to our BIG list of arts and cultural events happening in the NSW Central West gathered from artists, event producers, great local venues and groups across the region.

This is a busy artistic region. There’s usually more than 2000 arts and heritage events happeing in the region each year. Of course, 2020 looks a little different but the events are slowly returning where possible.

Regenerate

Mon June 29 - Sun August 16

ORANGE REGIONAL MUSEUM, ORANGE. Regenerate is an exhibition by local school children exploring the responses of Australia’s bushland to fire. Taking inspiration from Mount Canobolas and the 2018 bushfires, this exhibition explores how native eucalypt species on the mountain regenerate after fire.

Condo Skyfest 4&5 September 2020

CONDOBOLIN. SkyFest is a 2 night celebration of Aboriginal Astronomy. We will explore Aboriginal constellations and hear traditional sky stories. A range of workshops will take place like Wiradjuri language, boomerang throwing, fibre weaving, dancing, kids corner. Enjoy a 3 course meal of bush tucker with a modern day twist.
