HARTLEY. OPEN TUES-SUN. The Kew–Y–Ahn Aboriginal Gallery project is a partnership between Arts OutWest, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the NSW Department of Environment and Heritage. Work by local Aboriginal painters, weavers, designers, jewellers and photographers from across the NSW Central West are on show and for sale in rotating exhibitions in the new gallery space.
FORBES. Join us at the Amazing Grazing Community Breakfast between 8 and 11 am along Templar Street. Then head on down to the Wiradjuri Dreaming Centre from 11 am on for free cultural experiences and a lunch time sausage sizzle
BORENORE CAVES. Our Nature Kids will walk through the Borenore Caves and learn about the site's significance as an Aboriginal birthing place.
Gerald Power and his team of indigenous dancers will be back to cook up some bush tucker and teach us about indigenous food, dances, music, spirituality and their connection to Mother Earth.
Sue Clarke from Netwaste will also be with us to lead in a fun quiz about waste!
