Kew-Y-Ahn Aboriginal Art Gallery – GALLERY TEMPORARILY CLOSED DUE TO COVID-19

HARTLEY. OPEN TUES-SUN. The Kew–Y–Ahn Aboriginal Gallery project is a partnership between Arts OutWest, NSW National Parks and Wildlife Service and the NSW Department of Environment and Heritage. Work by local Aboriginal painters, weavers, designers, jewellers and photographers from across the NSW Central West are on show and for sale in rotating exhibitions in the new gallery space.

Around the Clock: Bathurst 12 & 24-Hour Endurance Racers – Closed due to Covid-19

BATHURST REGIONAL ART GALLERY, BATHURST. Lithuanian born artist Jurgis Miksevicius (1923-2014) immigrated to Australia in 1948. The exhibition will chart Miksevicius’ displacement from war torn Europe, his time at Bathurst Migrant Camp, the development of his practice with particular focus on the region and conclude with a selection of landscapes and a series of his more introspective/philosophical moon paintings.

CORNER STORE GALLERY, ORANGE. This Macrame Class is aimed at beginners and is designed to be a relaxing introduction to the art of Macrame. We’ll be making a quick and simple wall hanging using a variety of versatile macrame knots. You’ll be given specific instructions and a step-by-step guide.
