BATHRUST REGIONAL ART GALLERY, BATHURST. Bathurst Regional Art Gallery (BRAG) is currently seeking exhibition applicants for the Foyer Gallery. The space is ideal for ceramics, small sculpture and three-dimensional work.

LITHGOW. Musicians who play an orchestral stringed instrument are invited to apply for a 2020 Scholarhsip with Lithgow City Orchestra. They are especially seeking violin players.

BLAYNEY SHIRE. With the display period inclusive of the April School Holidays, Sculptures by the Bush will allow plenty of chances to travel through the region and not only see the artistic displays by locals with picturesque country views but also visit the surrounding historical villages.

Entries are now open for this year’s annual Banjo Paterson Writing Awards. The contest is sponsored by Orange City Library, the Central Western Daily and ABC Central West Radio established in 1991, these awards aim to honour Banjo Paterson, a great Australian writer and favourite son of Orange, with a competition to encourage short story or poetry writing with Australian content.

COWRA REGIONAL ART GALLERY, COWRA. The Calleen Art Award is an acquisitive art prize that encourages originality and artistic merit, established in 1977 by Mrs Patricia Fagan OAM. The winning artwork will become part of the splendid Calleen Collection – the foundation collection of the Cowra Regional Art Gallery.

Expressions of Interest due: Airing of the Quilts

LUCKNOW. Due to the extreme weather conditions many community members have been unable to enter their quilt in the Wentworth Mine Airing of the Quilts.
