Bathurst Health Service was lucky to enjoy a special performance from Compareo, a performance group for young adults living with disabilities.

Compareo means “be visible, be present”. The group has been working with Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre for the past five years, with support from theatre maker Catherine McNamara.
The group performed two parts of ViV! — a colourful children’s theatre show about a brave and adventurous girl who lives with a disability. The show uses imagination and storytelling to help us see the world in a different way. It celebrates friendship, family, and being yourself.
Local musician Cindy Fox, who played live music during the performance.
The event finished with a Q&A session, where the audience could ask questions and hear from the performers.
