Venues Unlocked Program helping NSW live performance venues to get their groove back

venues

Information sessions November 2023. Live performance venues across our cities and regions can now access funding and support for industry best-practice sound management, and to build the capacity for live performance, delivered by Sound NSW and the Office of the 24-Hour Economy Commissioner.

The Venues Unlocked program will generate greater vibrancy in communities, with two streams of funding and support: for live music venues to effectively mitigate and manage sound, and hospitality businesses, such as cafes, bars, breweries and restaurants, looking to diversify and convert to live performance venues.

Stream 1: Soundproofing Grants for Live Music Venues delivered by Sound NSW offers eligible venues up to $100,000 to upgrade their premise’s sound management infrastructure and equipment.

The second stage – Live Performance Venue Grant Program – will be offered in February 2024 to help hospitality business with equipment, programming and marketing support.
