In Shadowlands, eight Central West artists explore the qualities of light and shadow through painting, paper, photography and textile installation. As shadows fall across landscape, interiors and figures, these small absences of light reveal the larger patterns of form, place and time. Including work by Bradley Bradley, Chanel Sohier, Eloise Maree, Joel Tonks, Laura Baker, Lilium Burrow, Linda Chant and Lulu Wulf.

The Agency of Ruins, a collaboration by Sydney based artists Chrystal Rimmer, Belle Blau and Tamsin Salehian, will be opening at WAYOUT Artspace in Kandos. This exhibition is based on three provocations: speculative narratives of material and social entropy; the generative forces of such decay; and how these ruins can be measured within perspectives of the geos and bios.
This exhibition is based on three provocations: speculative narratives of material and social entropy; the generative forces of such decay; and how these ruins can be measured within perspectives of the geos and bios. Individually and collectively we have been investigating the symbiotic web of interdependencies that bind us to each other, to other species, and to the planet as a whole. Collecting impressions of human, plant, rock, soil and animal bodies, whilst reflecting on architectures of human and non- human realms, we are conducting an exploration of currently evolving ecologies.

The Uncooperative is an after-school social art program for young people. It is all about having fun in an inclusive and culturally safe space. If you are 13-19 years old and you like art, you are welcome to come and hang out.
