Within this body of work, Jane explores the natural beauty, the ecological importance and essential habitat sanctuary that bushland and wilderness areas provide - A Refuge, where flora, fauna and biodiversity can thrive. Conservation, regeneration and the re-wilding of country are integral to a healthy, bio-diverse environment.
Learn to make hand made paper, add flowers both fresh and dried, raw cotton and colours to make beautiful paper. Learn to prepare your pulp, to make Plantable Papers, adding seeds, and embossing wet papers. We will discuss handmade paper for painting and calligraphy, and hot press paper on the night.
To celebrate our 9th anniversary, Gallery Director Madeline Young has curated a group exhibition of 21 artists from across varied and diverse practices.
Many have exhibited with The Corner Store Gallery before with some joining us for the first time. Artists were invited to create two artworks each exploring the term “Quiet”.
In 2017, Andy Nelson began playing around the local venues in his native Central West NSW region. It didn’t take long before the troubadour decided he would enter the realm of song writing –and has never looked back.
In just a few months Andy wrote and recorded his debut E.P, enveloping songs about family, love and loss with his rustic Americana style. Quickly taking it to the people he has supported the Small Halls Festival Tour and played at several festivals such at the National Folk Festival, The End Festival, Inland Sea of Sounds and was a semi-finalist in the 2018 Bluesfest busking competition.
Depth of heart and sweetness of soul are two things that flow freely through the music of the beloved Australian folk singer, Sarah Humphreys.
From delicate folk music to personal reveries, vibrant collaborations and rousing alt-country songs, Sarah has the ability to infuse it all with her innate sensitivity and an artisanal touch in the craft of songwriting.

Kris and Lian will perform an intimate duo show featuring songs from across the three Safety of Life at Sea albums, and some new things in the works.
The Corner Store Gallery profiles the best of established and emerging Australian creatives, with curator Madeline Young seeking out colourful and visually arresting aesthetics in either art or design. As an artist herself, Madeline pursues opportunities outside of the established Regional Gallery or informal market stall channels to reach new artists, creators, and audiences.
Robin Meiklejohn is an Orange based watercolour artist . Growing up in the Blue Mountains completely surrounded by natural bush land Robin developed a life long appreciation of the beauty and fragility of her natural environment. It is her love of this environment that underpins much of her art practice today.
