Make Do and Mend Series: Visible Mending

Orange Regional Museum 151 Byng Street, Orange, NSW

ORANGE REGIONAL MUSEUM.
Don’t throw out that favourite shirt with its holes and tears! In this 2 hour visible mending workshop you’ll discover creative ways to repair your clothes, breathe life back into your favourite garments and turn your handiwork into a colourful feature. Mending also keeps textiles out of landfill. Using simple hand-stitch techniques, learn how to patch and mend your worn and loved garments.

A City for Kids, SPARKE Project

This joyful art-making and environmental education project was developed with our friends @orangeregionalmuseum and hundreds of school children and their teachers through the SPARKE network of local public primary schools.

POP UP CITY! WITH JAMES GULLIVER HANCOCK: SCHOOL HOLIDAY PROGRAM

Kids will create their very own pop-up artwork inspired by our exhibition How Cities Work using cardboard, paper, glue and coloured pencils. Illustrator James Gulliver Hancock will demonstrate simple techniques that will turn seemingly ordinary materials into an imaginative artwork.
