Winhanganha Mayiny

ORANGE REGIONAL GALLERY, ORANGE. Over 2020 and 2021 renowned Australian portrait photographer Gary Grealy worked with Orange Local Aboriginal Land Council and Orange Regional Gallery to create a series of portraits of members of the Orange Aboriginal community. Named Winhanganha (to think, know, remember) Mayiny (people), the project celebrates the importance of shared knowledge and leadership in community.

The Museum of Contemporary Art is coming to Orange to run a multi-day creative art making workshop. Across four days participants will meet and work alongside practicing artists, unpack contemporary art, and play with mediums and methods. Whether you love to sketch, take snaps on your phone, or cut-and-paste poetry, you’re welcome to come along, expand your creative processes, build skills, and find new ways to express yourself.

Orange Open Air with the support of Orange Regional Arts Foundation @artsorangensw are proud to host AACTA award-winning screenwriter and director, Monica Zanetti @mon_zans_gram , across two days of filmmaking workshops at the Orange Regional Art Gallery.
