The Sustainability Art Prize

Closes early 2023. The Sustainability Art Prize has been created to inspire you to explore global issues encouraging you to open up the space for dialogue and transformation.

Hosted by Art School at Old Lithgow Pottery.

Entries can be in any medium, and all shortlisted entries will form an exhibition at the Old Lithgow Pottery.

A winner, second and third prizes will be selected from the short-listed entries.

This is a non acquisitive award with 7 categories based on the United Nations 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development which is a plan of action for people, the planet and prosperity. The agenda outlines a set of goals the world is working toward achieving.

Artists can base their works on one or more of the following UN goals:

  1. Zero Hunger
  2. Clean Water and Sanitation
  3. Responsible Consumption and Production
  4. Climate Action
  5. Life Below Water
  6. Life on Land
  7. Peace and Justice

The works must reflect the areas of critical importance.
