
EOIs closing on Sunday 9 April, 2023. The fellowship is worth $4000 and is to support an individual or group to make and present a new artwork.
In addition to the fellowship, there is a mentorship worth $500 for emerging artists.
The Joyce Spencer Textiles Fellowship is to support a regional NSW textile artist or collective to deliver a new artwork or exhibition. Named after the textile artist Joyce Spencer (1928 – 2019), the fellowship is made possible with funds from the Spencer family and Western Riverina Arts, in partnership with the Cad Factory.
In 2023 we will award:
– One fellowship of $4000 to a mid-career artist or group to assist in achieving their project outcome.
– One mentorship of $500 to an emerging artist to assist in achieving their project outcome. They will also receive a one-hour mentorship session (in real life or via Zoom) with a suitable senior textile artist.
Round 3 applications will open on Wednesday 1 March 2023 and close at midnight, Sunday 9 April 2023.
