The Joyce Spencer Textiles Fellowship is to support a regional NSW textile artist or collective to deliver a new artwork or exhibition. Named after the textile artist Joyce Spencer (1928 – 2019), the fellowship is made possible with funds from the Spencer family and Western Riverina Arts, in partnership with the Cad Factory.

In 2023 we will award:

– One fellowship of $4000 to a mid-career artist or group to assist in achieving their project outcome.

– One mentorship of $500 to an emerging artist to assist in achieving their project outcome. They will also receive a one-hour mentorship session (in real life or via Zoom) with a suitable senior textile artist.

Round 3 applications will open on Wednesday 1 March 2023 and close at midnight, Sunday 9 April 2023.
