Tuesday 24 October, 9.30am-1.30am, Molong. A free workshop with CreativePlusBusiness for anyone in the creative sector who knows they need to make their website better.
A free workshop to help artists, makers and creatives get on top of their website needs will be held on Tuesday 24 October, 9.30am-1.30am at Molong RSL.
Called ‘Talking about your website’ and led by Monica Davidson from CreativePlusBusiness, the workshop is for anyone in the creative sector who knows they need to make their website better.
The free workshop is funded by a grant as part of the NSW Government’s official Small Business Month, supported by regional arts development organisation Arts OutWest.
“A website is so much more than a passive online portfolio display. It can be a centralised place to showcase services, a marketing tool to share stories, and an educational platform to help clients understand your craft,” said Arts OutWest executive director Kylie Shead.
‘When we last had Monica Davidson in the region to run workshops so many artists nominated their website as the business thing they most needed to work on,” Ms Shead said.
‘TALKING ABOUT YOUR WEBSITE is a practical and comprehensive workshop that examines the best ways for creatives to present their websites, with real-life examples of best practice, and helpful resources for DIY design,” Ms Shead said.
Monica Davidson is an award-winning expert on the creative industries. She’s a creative trailblazer who advocates, mentors, donates, educates and advises within Australia’s creative economy. Monica continues to work as a writer, filmmaker and occasional performer.
