Crowds slow-enjoyed the various stands and activities at @steamworks_portland STEAM Fair at @thefoundationsportland including Aleshia Lonsdale, Arts OutWest Aboriginal Arts Development Officer at the Kew-Y-Ahn Aboriginal Gallery stand in the Powerhouse building.
To start the day Uncle Peter Swain Dabee Wiradjuri elder gave a generous Welcome to Country and smoking ceremony at The Foundations.
The STEAM Fair is on 11-12 November 2023 at The Foundations Portland.
Coinciding with the STEAM Fair is a ‘Wellness & Ceramics’ workshop held at the Harrie Fasher Studio at The Foundations of Portland supported by the Rural Adversity Mental Health Program and a Country Art Support program.
