Jude Bowler Stage Fright

Sunday 9 June, 7pm at the Carcoar Royal Hotel. Jude Bowler’s enticing and touchingly twisted, droll homage to Marlene Dietrich.

Jude is absolutely itching to get back on stage after having so much fun with the crowd at Broken Hill (then having to take an unexpected break for the next two shows). Carcoar will be getting all the energy and all the razzle dazzle.

Written and performed by Jude, featuring the accompanying talents of Frankie Bouchier.
With special guest opening act Rob Shannon.

Show time – 65 minutes + interval.
This is a 16+ event (Under 18’s to be accompanied by an adult).

Jude Bowler is best known for her incisive character-comedy in kooky cabaret/theatre circles, incl her various solo shows and as part of underground comedy collective SIX QUICK CHICKS. A performer/writer for 25+ years, Jude’s history ranges from showgirl to drama, radio to physical theatre. Jude’s career began mid-90s as performer/creator/Board member for SGLMG, Pride Festivals and associated LGBTQI community activism. Later, she worked in Europe with French street theatre/puppetry company PLASTICIENS VOLANTS. In 2017, Jude joined MIDNIGHT FEAST THEATRE (NIDA’s first resident company for artists with disabilities) as a featured artist/facilitator and she continues there. Jude also works regularly with CirqueM in Central West NSW, where she’s based. Central West audiences will also know her for playing Barb in FAST CARS.
