Report: NSW audiences expected to increase in 2023

report

NSW audiences are re-engaging with arts and culture events, according to the latest Audience Outlook Monitor survey results, compiled in October 2022.

While the return to pre-pandemic attendance figures and expenditure appears some way off, there are optimistic signs for increasing NSW audience attendance in the coming 12 months with 55 per cent expecting to increase their attendance. Around 80 per cent (8 out of 10) had attended an arts and cultural event around the time of the survey, one of the highest rates in the country.
