DEA_4002 (1)
On the streets of Bathurst a family friendly crowd strode from Bathurst Railway Station to the Library Forecourt on Kepple Street as Part of the Pride ‘n Stride Parade on Saturday 13 April.  Prior to the Stride performances had graced the stage, stalls supported the event and the family friendly activities were enjoyed by all in the Library Forecourt.  Stalls included Headspace Bathurst, Central Tablelands and Blue Mountians Community Legal Centre, Social Futures / StandBy Support After Suicide, ACON Hunter, Out for Australia, Pride in Law, Wambuul Life Connection Network, The Colour City Rainbow Hub, Housing Plus and a BBQ by Coles Group. Great music was experienced by Martini Jones and Great Aunt and the event also supported by Arts OutWest. There was a terrific turnout.
Other Bathurst Pride ‘n Stride week activities included CSU Queer Screen Festival, Drag Bingo at The Greens on William and the Pride ‘n Stride After party at Keystone 1889.
