Our regular visual artists networking day is taking an excursion: to two very different spaces in Orange.
Tuesday 21 April, 10am-1pm
1. Jan Spanier’s mural at Blacksmiths
2. Ruth Durose’s Spring Street Studio
Start: 10am-11.30am at the Blacksmiths
Morning tea. Jan will show us his detailed mural in-situ. See the forge and smithy in action.
11.30am move onto the next studio (drive or car pool)
12pm-1pm at Spring Street Studio
Weather note: this second space can fit about 10 people at a time with a lovely outdoor area for us to be in too, so we can swap around and those outside can have chats while the others visit the space. If the weather is bad we’ll take a raincheck and visit another time (alternate plan for wet weather: group visit to Orange Regional Gallery).
