After the runaway success of The Silk Road series, we are pleased to announce the newest adventure for our staff musicians, The Americas!
Travel with us, from south to north, along continental America to explore rich musical heritage and breadth of cultures within. From Tango in the south to Jazz in the
north, let us take you on a journey that will be vibrant, surprising and filled with works that describes landscape, culture and travel.

ENSEMBLE Q | HOMAGE

Orange Regional Conservatorium 73A Hill Street, Orange, NSW, Australia

Presented in association with Musica Viva Australia
Composed as homage to both clarinetist Benny Goodman and violinist Joseph Sizgeti, Bartok’s Contrasts for violin, clarinet and piano is strongly influenced by Hungarian and Rumanian folk tunes and is a delightful journey for the listener. Tchaikovsky’s monumental and lush Piano Trio is a tribute to Arthur Rubinstein, with the inscription “A la memoire d’un Grand artiste”. Australia's composer of the moment Paul Dean’s new work (also to be titled Homage) is being created for the 2023 season and scored for clarinet, violin, cello and piano

Presented in association with Musica Viva Australia.
Bandaluzia Flamenco presents a spectacular new show that showcases contemporary flamenco dance and music whilst displaying the essential characteristics of the flamenco tradition. A journey through this unique and incredible art-form by some of Australia's most revered flamenco artists.
