So much happening over the June long weekend! Not only are we super excited to have Australia's largest operating steam locomotive, Beyer-Garratt 6029, visiting Bathurst courtesy of Transport Heritage NSW, we are also offering an amazing deal to visit TWO of our fabulous museums for less than the price of one!!

Chifely Home and Education Centre Re-opening

Chifley Home Busby St, Bathurst, NSW

Chifley Home has been closed since March 2020, and during this time Council has taken the opportunity to conduct conservation work and improvements to the facility.
New interpretative signage will tell the stories of Prime Minister and Locomotive Driver, Ben Chifley, and his wife Elizabeth.
