Orange Regional Conservatorium music scholarship applications are open to all young musicians. Do you know someone who would like to learn at the ORC?

The ORC invites all young, passionate musicians from Orange and the local surrounding regions to apply for scholarships for 2021.

A wide variety of music tuition scholarships are available for students aged 8-21 years of age.

ORC students and ensemble members are part of a supportive, fun and engaging music community made up of individuals of all ages, skill levels and backgrounds.

These scholarships are generously sponsored by Orange Regional Arts Foundation, local sponsors and the Orange Regional Conservatorium.


Applications close Friday 6th November 5pm.
Auditions to be held Saturday 14th November.

List of scholarships available: 

  1. Endangered Instrument Scholarship – For students wishing to learn french horn, bassoon, oboe, viola, double bass or tuba who may be new to the instrument or currently learning a similar instrument (i.e: Violin/Viola, Clarinet/Oboe, Bass Guitar/Double Bass etc.)
  2. HSC Support Scholarship – To support students in their HSC Music Studies.
  3. Indigenous Student Scholarship
  4. Ensemble Scholarships – To support students in joining or continuing in ORC ensembles.

  7. The Lucy Clarke-Randazzo Junior Strings 
  8. The Robin Thompson Senior Violin 
  9. The James Byrne Senior Strings
  10. The Phyll and Peter Carter Cello
