A new youth orchestra is now accepting applications for their 2023 program.
Creator Jessica Westcott said:
“In 2023 the Overture Youth Orchestra will have its inaugural program of events. We are so excited to bring together some of the most talented young musicians from Regional and Rural NSW. At UpStage, we believe that geographical disadvantage for young musicians should be a thing of the past, and we have created this orchestra to be a showcase for the talent that lies outside of major metropolitan areas.”
The orchestra is made up of young people under the age of 21, and it will be involved in events right across the state, and have the chance to visit Sydney and work with amazing conductors and mentors throughout the year.
