SONGBIRD SESSIONS with Saralyn, Jess Crossman & Lawdy Clawdy
Presented in partnership with Fish River Roasters.
The artists
A rising star from the Hunter Valley, Saralyn uses music to blend heartfelt songwriting with the fierce confidence of Stevie Nicks, Lainey Wilson, and Dolly Parton. In 2024, she won the
Gympie Music Muster Mothertone Talent Search open category, earning her a spot at the Deni Ute Muster and a Nashville showcase in 2026. With many of her singles charting the country’s
most prominent country music radio stations, Saralyn has easily become a staple in the nationwide country music circuit and is undoubtedly one to watch.
Jess Crossman fuses together the heart of country with the playfulness of pop and intimacy of indie music. Since she was young, she has been writing songs that take people on a journey
that feels wildly familiar. Jess has opened for The Beach Boys, and has shared stages with the likes of 19twenty, Sneaky Sound System, Killing Heidi, The Potbelleez, Adalita (Magic Dirt) and
Hayley Jensen. Having made the top 50 in Australian Idol 2023, Jess is now carving out a path singular to her musical journey.
Lawdy Clawdy (FKA Dust Music) is a folk band with a country and blues twist. Based in the Outback Far West region of Warren, the band come from an extensive background in music.
Lead vocalist & guitarist Greg Storer is a two-time Tamworth Country Music Award-winning artist who has performed his music across Australia for over 20 years. His daughter Bonnie also
provides guitar and vocals for the band and Director of the Warren Chamber Music Festival and 2024 APRA AMCOS Arts Music Awards finalist, Frances Evans, completes the trio on fiddle.
Together as Lawdy Clawdy, the band are currently in the process of recording for their first album.
