Music Support Program 2020-23

In response to Covid-19 impacts Arts OutWest identified the music industry in our region as an area needing additional support.

Patrick Coomey worked as our music industry development officer. You can see highlights from the program below.


Arts OutWest is utilizing funds from the NSW Government’s RESTART package to employ a Music Industry Support Officer, support local gigs and for the creation of the album ‘While the World Waits’ (2021)

Funds from the Australian Government’s Live Music Australia for the Live and Kicking program (2021-22).

Wed 24 April, 7-9pm at Bathurst Memorial Entertainment Centre. BMEC, Music NSW and Arts OutWest host a Music Industry Mixer to bring music based artists together

Live & Kicking: acousitc sunday returns

Sunday 27 November, 2-5pm, Club Millthorpe. For nearly 15 years, from May to October, acoustic sunday offered a monthly afternoon of high quality acoustic music across a range of genres in the small heritage village of Millthorpe in Central West NSW.

Artspeak Extra Ausmusic Month

Each November is AusMusic Month — a chance to shine an extra focus on Australian music. Arts OutWest are jumping on this band wagon (sorry, terrible pun) and shining light on our own local musicians with a special music edition of our enews.
