Closes 10 September 2023. Project Development Grants empower community museums and Aboriginal cultural spaces to carry out strategic and innovative projects with mid to long term outcomes. The grants can also provide an opportunity to work productively with an appropriate consultant as a skill development opportunity.
Previous Project Development Grants have funded strategic and marketing plans, significance assessments, exhibition development, touring exhibitions and public programs.
Project Development Grants are open to museums and Aboriginal cultural spaces (with object collections and displays) with up to two full time paid staff members (no more than 70 hours of paid staffing per week) as well as museum networks such as AMaGA Chapters.
Amount: $2,500 – $7,500
