The official callout for NSW artists will be released in mid-December 2021 as part of Firstdraft’s 2022 program callout – but they’ve planned some information sessions on 23, 24 and 25 November 2021 for interested artists, to introduce both organisations, detail the opportunity and give an overview of what’s involved in preparing an application.
This is a new partnership between Metro Arts and Firstdraft for artists living outside capital cities
Team members from both organisations – including Kyle Weise, Curator (Exhibition Program), Metro Arts, Brisbane; JD Reforma, Communications and Development Manager, Firstdraft; and Karen Golland and Holly Farrell, Co-Directors, Firstdraft – will present information about Firstdraft, Metro Arts, as well as information about the opportunity, your eligibility, and how to apply.
5.30 – 5.35 pm: Welcome and Introductions
5.35 – 5.45 pm: Kyle Weise Introduction to Metro Arts
5.45 – 5.55 pm: JD Reforma Introduction to Firstdraft
5.55 – 6.15 pm: Information about partnership and opportunity for NSW artists
6.15 – 6.30 pm: Questions and Answers
Participants are welcome to submit questions throughout the session using the chat feature, which we will answer at the end of the session. You can also submit questions in advance by emailing email@example.com. Firstdraft will record the session, and participants will receive an information pack about the opportunity and a link to the recording after each session.
