M16 Artspace is excited to announce the launch of the M16 Artspace Drawing Prize 2026, generously supported by the Tall Foundation.
Entry is free for First Nations artists and artists with current Pension Concession Cards.
This prestigious competition has been a staple in the arts exhibition calendar since 2006, attracting a diverse range of entries from across Australia.
The M16 Artspace Drawing Prize invites artists to submit works that showcase the essence of drawing in both traditional and contemporary contexts. Entries encompassing traditional drawing media and techniques, as well as innovative non-traditional works, are encouraged, further expanding the horizons of contemporary art practice. This prize culminates with a curated finalist exhibition, displaying the work of around 20-25 coveted finalists selected by an esteemed judging panel.
