Sunday 26 June 4pm at The Bling Pig Sound Lounge and Cocktail Bar Orange. Presented by Arts OutWest. Nerida is a songwriter whose songs have been connecting with people from all walks of life for over 25 years.

Originally from Sydney Nerida Cuddy fled there as soon as she could for the open skies and space of western NSW, a stint in country Victoria, before finally stopping in Canowindra.  Her stories-in-song are a well-balanced mix of bittersweet tales of life with tasty lashings of humour, generous and fun. Detailed guitar accompany her warm & passionate voice.

Nerida found a new audience during isolation by performing online to a UK based folk club, which gave rise to her song “Virtual Folk Club”. This song is featured on The Arts OutWest Album “While The World Waits”. Nerida has recorded and released 5 albums with her latest album Woven released in 2021. “Woven brings to life a number of meaningful rural stories that are both expressive and timely..” Sam Bolt Western Advocate.

Nerida loves sharing her music with a range of audiences, come and experience her exquisite songs at The Blind Pig Cocktail Bar & Sound Lounge for a Sunday Afternoon session of Original Live Music. You won’t be able to live stream or download it, you’ve gotta be there to experience it.

Arts OutWest is pleased to present in conjunction with The Blind Pig a series of Live & Kicking shows featuring the Original music of artists from The Central West. Live & Kicking gigs are supported by the Australian Governments Live Music Australia.
