Saturday 10 December, 12-3pm, Wildflower Cafe Molong. In response to recent events in the Central West we’d like to bring two talented artists to Molong for people to take time out catch up with friends over some good tunes and food at Wildflower Cafe.
Live & Kicking is a program Arts OutWest have been running since November last year as part of our recovery response for the Central West Music Industry.
Opening the show will be Oberon Local Chloe Swannell. She has played all around the Central West and you may have even caught her at a wedding or two. Chloe possess a great sense of melody and knows how to shape a catchy tune. Performing a set of her own original songs, you’ll be in for a treat here with the organic sound of a powerful voice accompanied by wood & strings.
Josie Laver has just released her brand-new album Ride This Lullaby and ABC Country made it their album of the week. Josie has had a love of horses and music from a young age and she has pursued both with a strong passion. During the day she works on her family farm near Boorowa by night she hones her song writing craft, her tunes of love and heartbreak ooze authenticity. Embracing her country roots, inspired by Kasey Chambers, Gillian Welch & Bonnie Raitt, she not only loves country music, she lives it.
Come and catch Josie Laver & Chloe Swannell at The Wildflower Café from 12pm on Saturday 10th December. Celebrate together with Original Live Music made and played in the Central West. You won’t be able to live stream or download it, you’ve gotta be there to experience it.
Arts OutWest is pleased to present in conjunction with The Wildflower Café in Molong this very special recovery show. Live & Kicking gigs are supported by the Australian Governments Live Music Australia.
