Sunday 5 June, 4pm, The Blind Pig Orange. Singer songwriter Cletis Carr is perched firmly atop the Americana/ folk/ blues summit.

His tales of joy, heartbreak, redemption, ordinary madness and everyday heroes are draped in a rich tapestry of acoustic steel-string and resonator guitars.
Arts OutWest have invited his to perform his original tunes at a free Live & Kicking session 4pm Sunday 5 May at The Blind Pig Sound Lounge and Cocktail Bar Orange.
Cletis Carr wowed the audience at Arts OutWest’s Live & Kicking gig in Bathurst last November, we’re excited to have him return for an Orange show.
Over the year Cletis has toured worldwide, sharing stages with Tom Petty, John Mellencamp, Elvis Costello, Joan Jett, Nick Lowe and Huey Lewis, and performed with members of AC/DC, Rose Tattoo, the Easybeats, and the Saints.
2022 will see the re-release of the 1997 second album by his former band Hill Billy Moon, (with Paul Norton, Wendy Stapleton, and the late Rose Tattoo legend Peter Wells). This will be supported by a national tour that has Aussie Music heroes Don Walker of Cold Chisel, and Mark “Diesel” Lizotte expressing interest in participating.
Arts OutWest is pleased to present in conjunction with The Blind Pig a series of Live & Kicking shows featuring the original music of artists from the NSW Central West. Live & Kicking gigs are supported by the Australian Government’s Live Music Australia.
