Lake Macquarie City Council invites you to apply for their Lake House Residency Program – a unique opportunity to support creative development and cultural exchange in the region. There are currently four funded residencies available, along with ongoing self-funded residency subsidies for artists based outside the Hunter Region.
The Lake House is a fully furnished residence accommodating up to six people, with three bedrooms and dedicated space to work. It’s located in beautiful Speers point, a leafy suburb beside Lake Macquarie – the largest coastal saltwater lake in the southern hemisphere. Just two hours from Sydney and 30 mins from Newcastle, it offers a peaceful and inspiring setting for creative practice.
