Arts OutWest is your service organisation. Around funding we can support you with:

  • advice and information about arts funding (phone, email, in person)
  • advise on project planning and budgeting for applications
  • assist you to understand funding application requirements
  • letters of support
  • auspice (financially manage for a fee) funding for suitable groups and artists.
  • we coordinate the Country Arts Support Program for our region.

Museums & Galleries of NSW: Volunteer Museum Grants
Small Grants Round 1 Closes 31 March 2024. Up to $2,000 for short-term, collection-based projects. There are no set categories for funding, and applications for a broad range of projects will be considered.
Skills Development Grants Until funding is expended. Up to $4000 for the development and delivery of skill development training and networking events.
Leg Up Grants Until funding is expended. Matched funding of $50 – $500 for volunteers to attend or host development activities in NSW.
Lights On, Doors Open Until funding is expended. Stipend program has been established to relieve the pressures faced by volunteer-led museums and Aboriginal cultural spaces in NSW.
Live Music Australia fund

Medium Business Support Grant (flood support)

Telstra’s Connected Communities Grant Program
Closes 27 March 2024. support for communities across remote, rural and regional Australia to improve resilience, environmental sustainability and liveability through the power of connection. More
NSW Regional Event Fund
Closes 29 March 2024. identifies and supports events in regional NSW that have the potential to act as a ‘cornerstone’ or flagship tourism event for their area by attracting overnight visitation and delivering long term benefits to the region. More

Small Projects Grants (quick response) – Individuals and Groups 2023/24
Closes 20 May 2024. Support professional development opportunities for NSW-based professional artists, groups and arts and cultural workers (including museum workers).
Regional Arts Fund Quick Response Grants
Assessed monthly through to November. Individuals can apply for up to $3000, organisations can apply for up to $5000. There is no minimum grant amount. The Quick Response Grants will continue to support immediate need that arises where the activity is unable to be planned for or supported in other funding rounds.
