Fran O’Neill activated The Administration Building studio at The Foundations during her Squatter’s Residency, returning in January 2026 with Inga Dalrymple and Cat Mills.
Established in 2020 the Squatters Residency program has housed over sixty Artists in Residence, staying for up to four weeks in ‘The Squat’ and working on the Foundations site. The program has been, to date, via invitation. An application process for the residency will be developed later in 2026.
Arts OutWest works with The Foundations and The Portland Collective (Harrie Fasher Studios, the Portland Foundry and The Portland Workshops) to facilitate this unique residency.
