WORKSHOP – Make your own nuno felted scarf!
Sun 28 August at 12:30 pm - 3:00 pm
In this workshop you will learn how to create a nuno felted scarf. Nuno felting is the process of felting onto a silk base. At the end of the workshop you will have a completed scarf to take with you.
In particular you will learn:
• the theory behind how felt is made
• how to lay out merino wool
• the types of embellishments that can be added to felt for decoration
• create felt using rolling, water and soap
When booking, please state the colour of the silk base you would like to work on. All materials will be supplied.
The Annexe is open from 10am – 3pm Saturday and Sunday, with PopUp Café, Micro Market and Art Displays.
