2023 COMPETITION AND EXHIBITION
Year of Textiles & Fast Fashion
All the creative work is finished, the judging completed and now it’s time to announce the winners. It’s been a competition that has captured everyone’s imagination! This year we have more than 50 fabulous entries from across the Parkes Shire. Come along and see for yourself.
The generous sponsorship of the SIMS METAL – WASTE 2 ART Competition by PARKES SHIRE COUNCIL, represents a creative and innovative approach to the reduction and reuse of waste in PARKES SHIRE.

VENUE: Coventry Room, Parkes Shire Library & Cultural Centre
The Public Exhibition runs from 3 June 2023 through until 1 July 2023.
Winners will progress to the Regional Waste 2 Art which will be held in Blayney from 22nd July 2023
