Bursting on to the stage with the mega hit ‘What doesn’t kill you makes you Stronger’, Turning Tables bounces along with rocking renditions of hit songs that will have you dancing in your seats, such as Just the way you are, Born this way, Holding out for a hero, Girls just wanna have fun, Danger Zone, Dear Future Husband and more. It’s funny, hilariously so at times but also has some very poignant messages about life and how, with the help of some really great friends, we can deal with the challenges that get thrown our way, reflected beautifully through some powerful ballads such as My Immortal, Because of You, I will never love again, Jesus take the Wheel and what is certain to be a huge finish, This is me, from the Greatest Showman.

Turning Tables tells the story of five women, all different, all unique and all with their own “baggage” to carry. Throughout the show, each of the women reflect on their past experiences, the relationships they have endured and the strength and resilience they have gained from the friendships they have forged with each other, regardless of their individual differences or social status. However, beneath the surface lies a secret that will floor the girls and make them all question their journeys in life.

This original musical, written by local identity, Lyn Townsend, is bound to impress, with its sizable sprinkle of humour, a large mechanicalised ‘turning table’, some pretty slick dance moves, an impeccable selection of hit songs that fit perfectly with the story line, and a stellar cast chosen to bring this unique production to life; Christie Green, Shev Brown and Christa Radley (all from the well-known group Amitie), Ruth Barnes, Maddison Collits, and Aaron Kingham. There are also a few special cameo appearances – but we can’t give too much away!

Please note, due to adult themes, Turning Tables is not appropriate for anyone under 14 years of age.
