The Big Easter Weekend

Fri 2 April - Mon 5 April

This coming Easter Long Weekend, the Foundations will be coming alive with a range of activities and events.
After much work the Millpond Fishing will be open to the public. There is now a pathway all around the Millpond and we will be advising permanent opening times very soon.
The area has had significant work to the vegetation and areas leading down to the water, and the final stages will be bridges across the watercourses in the coming weeks.
The Annexe will also be open over the weekend as the extensive renovation nears completion. The Museum of Comparative Zoology will be open as a much bigger popup than in past visits, as they start to sort though their massive collection and begin installing permanent displays. There will also be a range of artworks on display that have bee created during various artists events on site over the last 12 months.
On Saturday there will be an official opening ceremony for the Memorial Wall completed by Portland Tidy Towns next door to the Glen Museum, starting at 2:30pm and followed by an afternoon tea in the Boilerhouse building.
The Twilight markets will follow from 4pm on the Saturday night going through till 9pm, with great local market stalls, food and drinks, music and much more.
