The Baylor Brothers at Wallington Wines

Lachlan Valley Music, for Log Cabin Session #19, are hosting the LEGENDARY (this word used advisedly – thanks HG) and rarely spotted Baylor Brothers at the magnificent Wallington Wines. Andy, Peter and Donal Baylor, as nature intended, together again with instruments primed and at the ready after a warm-up wedding the night before. These brothers have an impeccable musical pedigree, they hit the bigtime in the 80s in the Dancehall Racketeers, Donal played fiddle for years with Slim Dusty and is a mainstay of the Canberra scene still appearing often with the Black Mountain String Band. Andy now lives in Cowra but has played with the likes of Screamin Jay Hawkins, Big Jay McNeely, Flaco Jimenez, Chad Morgan and even Johnny Gimble from Bob Wills’ Texas Playboys . Peter has an equally storied musical career, still calls Victoria home, paints excellent landscapes like his brother Andy, and tears it up in various musical incarnations.
