Synergy Percussion: Common Time

Wed 19 July at 7:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Let Synergy Percussion take you on a journey around the globe. Common Time explores the shared culture of percussion, and the excitement it brings to the world.

Hot rhythms from Latin America, driving taiko from Japan, cool grooves from jazz and the absolute brilliance of orchestral tuned percussion come together to produce a breadth of sonic texture and music that brings a smile to all audiences and artists alike.

The program includes newly commissioned works for percussion, by Sandy Evans, Lee McIver, Gai Bryant, Ed Goyer and Ryuji Hamada, plus an arrangement by Ian Cleworth of a Kaoru Watanabe (USA).
