Starry Night wall hangings
Thu 6 October at 1:00 pm
One event on Thu 6 October 2022, at 1:00 pm
Join us to create a starry night wall hanging inspired by our exhibition ‘Mulaa Giilang: Wiradjuri stories of the night sky’.
Kids will create their own starry night wall hanging or mobile to take home.
Using humble materials, we’ll explore several techniques to create something beautiful to light up your child’s room.
This activity includes a short guided visit to Mulaa Giilang: Wiradjuri stories of the night sky.
This activity is designed for children to be dropped off at the beginning and picked up at the end of the session.
Suitable for kids aged 6+.

This exhibition features stunning night sky photography and an immersive soundtrack to explore Wiradjuri astronomical knowledge alongside comparative mythologies from across the world.
