Sky Stories

Fri 8 September at 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Headspace Orange and Orange City Council present Sky Stories a series of dreamtime stories told by a local Wiradjuri man under the night sky.

As the seasons change so do the stars and the stories that go with them. This is an opportunity for indigenous young people and their families and friends to connect with culture and for the rest of the community to learn about the indigenous community and their strong connection to dreamtime.

Please join us on Friday 8th September at Gosling Creek Reserve to hear dreamtime stories told by, Doug Sutherland, a local Wiradjuri man.

A bus will be leaving the Orange Youth Hub on Garema Road at 7.15pm for those who need transport.

What to bring:

  • A torch
  • Warm clothing

In the event of poor weather or cloud cover this event may be postponed. If this does occur all registrations will be contacted via email.
